Unplug & Read Week, Feb. 14-20, 2010, is a community wide initiative sponsored by Read To Succeed encouraging adults, families, and children to unplug from televisions, computers, and video games and enjoy the pleasures and educational enrichments of reading.

Start the week off with a visit to the library on Sunday Feb. 14. Patrons are invited to spend the afternoon at the library, and check out reading materials to enjoy at home during the week.

Come to the library to experience the fun that’s possible when we unplug our electronic devices. Board games, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards will be set up in the 2nd floor Reading Room for everyone to enjoy, and lots of wonderful books are available throughout the library.

Library hours on Sundays are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Games in the Reading Room will be picked up at 5:30 p.m.
