The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties has announced that it will host job skill-related workshops during the month of August through its Project PASS initiative. The classes will focus around basic computer, resume, and interview skills and will be free and open to the public.
“We are excited to present this opportunity to our community in order to help people find and maintain jobs,” said Stephanie Patton, Director of Community Impact at United Way. “A main goal at United Way is to help families become financially stable and independent.”
The workshops will be held at Linebaugh Library, located at 105 West Vine Street in Murfreesboro, each Tuesday in August beginning August 10th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Project PASS, which stands for Preparing Adults for Self-Sufficiency, is a grassroots initiative of the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties. Project PASS strives to provide programming and resources for adults to realize their full potential.
