The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties has announced its Loaned Executive class for the 2011 fundraising campaign.
The Loaned Executives are selected by their employers to assist United Way with the annual campaign, either part-time or full-time, while the employer continues to provide the individual’s salary and expenses.
The Loaned Executives serve as account managers, United Way advocates and provide general support to the United Way staff and campaign cabinet. The 2011 Loaned Executive class includes:
Part-Time Loaned Executives Corey Cato, General Mills Erin Cayll, MMC Kirk Garrett, Regions Bank Travis Lampley, McCarter, Catron & East, PLLC Sandra Mason, USBank Crystal McPherson, SunTrust Courtney Weaver, General Mills
Full-Time Loaned Executives Josh Charles, Publix Debbie Coleman, State Farm
The Loaned Executives work closely with an assigned member of the Campaign Cabinet, which is an additional group of volunteers who develop campaigns by division, such as retail, healthcare, or schools.
The Loaned Executives are also able to develop their leadership, project management, and communication skills that prepare them for expanded job-related responsibilities as well as establish valuable professional networks with local business and community leaders.
United Way kicked off its fundraising campaign on Aug. 25 with 13 percent of the $3 million fundraising goal already secured.
