Two men knocked out of wheelchairs during fight

TMP Reports

Charges may be pending against a man accused of knocking two men out of wheelchairs during a domestic dispute at their Bell Buckle home, a sheriff’s deputy reported.

Victim Troy L. Tucker of Midland-Fosterville Road reported Friday a husband and wife Tucker allowed to live in his home became involved in an argument last Wednesday, Deputy Trey Nunley reported.

When Tucker tried to intervene, the husband punched him on the right side of his face, “knocking him out of his wheelchair and onto the floor,” Nunley reported. Tucker got back into the wheelchair and the husband struck the left side of his face and knocked him out of the wheelchair a second time.

After Tucker got into the wheelchair, the husband struck him a third time in the back of the head, the deputy reported. Roommate Tim Churley tried to defend Tucker but the husband struck him in the back of the head.

“Churley also relies on a wheelchair for mobility and was unable to defend himself, much less Tucker,” Nunley reported.

The husband and wife left the home and the husband called to apologize Friday. Tucker told him not to come back to his home.

Tucker reported the alleged assault to Nunley Friday and indicated he might want to prosecute the husband for assault.
