Now that TrustPoint Hospital has opened, Rutherford County residents will have the opportunity to enjoy quality care from one of the top health care rehabilitation facilities in the country, according to company officials.
“TrustPoint Hospital has opened its doors and will certainly make a real difference in peoples’ lives,” said Kevin Lee, chief executive officers of Polaris Hospital Company, which is the primary backer behind the newly opened facility.
More than 500 health care professionals and members of the Rutherford County community attended the Aug. 14 open house and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the arrival of TrustPoint Hospital.
“We are humbled by the incredible turnout for this event,” said Michelle Fowler, director of Business Development for TrustPoint Hospital. “It just goes to show the tremendous need for these services here in our community.”
Attendees also had the chance to speak with key physicians and take a self-guided tour of the new hospital, located on North Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro that offers inpatient, acute physical rehabilitation services and behavioral health care for patients.
“These doors will remain open for longer than any of our lifetimes,” said Lee, who is a native of Christiana. “It has been the project of my life.”
