Police need help identifying the three men featured in this surveillance footage in connection with the Feb. 20, 2013, theft at Game Stop in Smyrna, Tenn. (Photos submitted)

SMYRNA, Tenn. – Local authorities are searching for three unidentified men who allegedly stole multiple items Wednesday from Game Stop.

“At approximately 12:03 p.m., three men entered the Game Stop located at 801 Industrial Drive in Smyrna,” said Kevin Arnold, chief of the Smyrna Police Department.

“After making entry," Arnold said, "one of the males distracted the clerk while another removed merchandise from the packaging and concealed it on his person.”

According to Smyrna police, none of the men paid for the items and left before the clerk could stop them.

“They got into a purple SAAB convertible and drove off,” Arnold said.

The incident was recorded on video surveillance footage, and police are hoping that someone from the public will recognize the trio and come forward with that information.

The three suspects featured in the still images are black males, one of which appears to be in his 30s and was wearing glasses. The other two men who were captured wearing baseball caps are believed to be older than the first suspect.

All three men had facial hair and were wearing dark-colored jackets when the incident occurred.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about these suspects to contact Allan Nabours, a detective with the Police Department, at 615-459-6644.
