| Tree blocks Haynes Drive overnight, this morning |

Yesterday’s high winds blew down a part of a tree on Haynes Drive near Stones River Manor.
Murfreesboro’s Urban Environmental Department cleaned up the mess, but feared the remaining part of the tree could fall on the roadway and closed the road over night.
The road will be closed this morning as crews work to take down the tree. The road should be opened by noon.
Through traffic is being detoured from Haynes Drive to Wendlewood Drive to Castlewood Drive to Memorial Boulevard. Traffic traveling west on Dejarnette Lane is not obstructed. |
