Dewayne Trail, UT extension agent and Rutherford County director, will speak to the Exchange Club at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Through the Grapevine restaurant.
Trail is expected to discuss the role of agriculture in the Rutherford County economy and report on the new Community Center and Farmers Market on John R. Rice Boulevard.
The primary focus of Extension programs are in the area of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development and Resource Development.
