Memorial Blvd (between Irongate Blvd and Airport Road)
Expected Lane Closures: Tuesday and Thursday of this week, (between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm): Contractor for the Murfreesboro Electric Department will be trimming trees along Memorial Blvd (between Irongate Blvd and Airport Road). Southbound traffic will be reduced from two lanes to one lane on Tuesday and Northbound traffic will be reduced from two lanes to one lane on Thursday.
Intersection of Stoney Meadow Drive and Tahoma Trail
Expected Intersection Closures: Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25: The intersection will be closed to replace a sewer manhole in the middle of the street. The driveways and access to the homes close to the intersection will be kept open at all times. Detour signs will be in place at Cason Trail and Stoney Meadow Drive & Beaconcrest Cir and Stoney Meadow Drive.
Memorial Blvd (between St. Clair and Kingwood Drive)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will continue installing handicap ramps and curbs at the following intersections along Memorial Blvd (St Clair, Broadmor Blvd, Clark Blvd and Kingwood Dr). There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions at these intersections.

Thompson Lane Resurfacing Project
Expected Lane Closures: Sunday, June 20 through Monday, June 21, 9 PM – 6 AM: There will be lane closures on northbound and southbound Thompson Lane between Medical Center Parkway and NW Broad Street for traffic signal loop installations. Tuesday, June 22 through Monday June 28, 9 PM – 6 AM: There will be alternating lane closures on Thompson Lane northbound and southbound for paving operations.
Leaf Avenue Storm Drain Improvement Project
Clark Blvd at Leaf Avenue
Expected Lane Closures: Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25, 9 AM – 4 PM: There will be lane shifts and lane closures on Clark Blvd eastbound and westbound at Leaf Avenue for completing the storm drain installation and paving operations.
Memorial Blvd at Cherry Lane
Expected Minor Traffic Interruptions: Monday thru Friday next week, 9 AM – 4 PM: There will be no lane closures on Memorial Blvd at Cherry Lane for the installation of a new traffic signal.
State Street Sewer Replacement Project
State Street (the section between Highland Avenue and Maney Avenue)
Expected Road Closures: For the next two months, mid June through mid August: The road will be closed to through traffic for sewer replacement work. The roadway will be kept opened to local traffic and residents at all times.
Along Interstate 24 at Medical Center Parkway/Manson Pike Interchange
Expected Lane Closures: Thursday, June 22, 9 AM – 2 PM: There will be lane closures on Interstate 24 at Medical Center Parkway/Manson Pike Interchange for street lighting maintenance work.
S. Church Street (between Warrior Drive and Indian Park Drive
Expected Minor Traffic Interruptions: Monday, June 21, 9 AM – 1 PM: There will be partial lane closures and minor traffic interruptions on S Church Street (southbound lanes only) for the installation of pavement markings. |
