The following road projects will affect traffic in Murfreesboro during the week beginning June 1:
Road conditions are shown every hour on Channel 3.
- Florence Road between Honeybee and Santana is open again. Crews will now begin working on Florence from Manson Pike to I-24. There are currently no closures.
- River Rock Boulevard will be opened to traffic again soon. The traffic department will put temporary stripes on the roadway and finish paving within the next two weeks.
- Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department (MWSD) continues with reconstruction of a sewer main under Vine Street. Crews are working between Maney and Highland this week from 9 a.m.-3 p.m..
During the day, Vine Street is closed to all but local traffic. Through traffic, traveling for the east and west will be detoured to Main and Sevier streets. Local residents will have access to homes at all times.
- The Streets Department will repave Clark Boulevard from Leaf Avenue to Highland Avenue from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, weather permitting.
- Rutherford Boulevard from the CSX bridge to Main Street is mostly completed. Crews are completing incidental guardrail and painting work. The road is open.
