Maney Avenue Street Improvement Project (between SE Broad Street and College Street)
Expected Road Closures:   Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.:  Road construction work continues along Maney Avenue between E Castle St and E Vine Street.  The intersection of Maney Avenue and Vine Street will be closed on Monday, December 5 through Thursday, December 15 for utility construction work.  Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place. 

Access drives to the local residents and businesses will be kept open at all times. Motorists are advised to use Highland Ave and Academy Street travelling north/south and State Street and Main Street travelling east/west.  
 
Lytle Creek Sewer Replacement Project (Woodmore Drive between Glaze Court and Kirkwood Avenue)
Expected Lane Closures:  Monday - Friday:  9 a.m. to 2 p.m.:  The contractor will be laying sewer pipe on Kirkwood Ave between the Woodmore Drive and Middle Tennessee Boulevard  Kirkwood Ave will be closed between Middle Tennessee Boulevard and Tremont Drive. 

Traffic will be detoured onto Houston Drive and Tremont Drive. Driveway access to local residents will be kept open at all times.
 
Veterans Parkway (New section between Barfield Road/Kimbro Road and Barfield Crescent Road)
Expected Lane Closures:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.:  The traffic on Barfield Crescent Road has been shifted to the south side near Lone Oak Drive. 

Appropriate lane shift signs and pavements markings are in-place.  Contractor has started road work on the north side.  The construction of the bridge over Stones River continues.
 
MTSU Phase 3 Project (Intersection of Greenland Drive at Wiles Ct)
Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.:  There will be minor lane closures on Greenland Drive at Wiles Court.  Traffic signal and roadway work continues at the intersection.  There will be minor traffic interruptions.  Work continues, minor traffic interruptions.
 
Atmos Project (Vine Street between University and Maney avenues)
Expected Lane Closures:  Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:  The contractor for Atmos will be installing gas lines along Vine Street between University Avenue and Academy Street. There will be partial lane closures and traffic interruptions on Vine Street.
 
Lytle Street Sewer Construction Project (Lytle Street between Church Street and Maple Street)
Expected Lane Closures:  Monday - Friday:  7 a.m. to 4 p.m.:  The contractor for the Water and Sewer Department will be laying sanitary sewer pipe on Lytle Street between Church and Maple streets. This section of Lytle Street will be closed. 

Traffic will be detoured onto Burton and College streets. Northbound and southbound traffic on Church and Maple streets will not be affected. Driveway access to local businesses will be kept open at all times.
 
New Traffic Signal Work (Intersection of New Salem Highway and Veterans Parkway)
Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:  City traffic signal contractor will be installing traffic signal poles at the intersection of New Salem Highway and Veterans Parkway.

There will be partial lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
 
Annual City Street Paving Project
Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.:  City paving crews will working on the following subdivisions: 
 
Weston Subdivision
Battlefield Parkway
 
Expect lane shifts and traffic interruptions during these operations.
