The following road projects will affect traffic in Murfreesboro during the week:
Road conditions are shown every hour on Channel 3.
Murfreesboro Electrical Department will trim trees and perform utility pole work along Thompson Lane from Haynes Drive to the Thompson Lane Greenway Trailhead.
The work will take place from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
••• City crews are in the process of installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Memorial and Cherry Lane.
There will be some interruptions in traffic, but no lane closures, as work is performed from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
••• A new decorative sidewalk is being installed for the new Middle Tennessee Medical Center at Medical Center Parkway and Arnhart Drive.
The eastbound side will be reduced to one lane from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. Saturday and Monday night.
••• Starting Tuesday Clark Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes, one lane in each direction, as part of a drainage project on Leaf Avenue.
Work will be performed from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Take alternate routes.
••• Starting Tuesday, all traffic on Fortress Boulevard will be shifted to the eastbound side of the street.
Work has already begun at the Blaze Drive and Fortress intersection as part of a widening project that will see a completed roadway with five lanes, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and a bike lane.
The project should be complete in August.
••• Beginning Sunday night, TDOT crews will resurface Thompson Lane from Old Fort Parkway to Broad Street from 9 p.m.-6 a.m.
The resurfacing will be done Sunday night through Thursday night. There will be lane restrictions during the night. |
