| Tractor show set for Celebrate La Vergne |

It's time of year! -- time to start planning for the annual Celebrate La Vergne historical event, to take place from 2 - 5 p.m. on Saturday March 13. The event will be held at the Civic Auditorium at 283 Old Nashville Highway.
La Vergne Historical Preservation Committee Chairman and Alderman Dennis Waldron is looking to spice up this year's event by have a tractor show in the parking lot at the facility.
"I'd like to see some old fashioned tractors at this year's Celebrate La Vergne," Waldron said. He's hoping that the public can help with that goal. "There have to be some old tractors in La Vergne that can be brought out the for event."
