Once again, local area craft artists will open their studios to the public this weekend, offering a unique and wide selection of artwork and demonstrations with the 15th annual Murfreesboro Artists Studio Tour sponsored by the Stones River Craft Association.

Come and meet the artists, learn what inspires them, watch demonstrations and buy quality crafts.

The tour will feature some of the Stones River area's finest forged iron, pottery, stained glass, weaving, woodworking, fine jewelry and functional home accessories.

Visitors are welcome to come to the studios just to enjoy the artwork and see how and where it is designed and made.

There is no charge to attend and this year’s stops include: Appalachian Life Workshops, Brown View Forge, Juliano Studio, Norris Hall Studio & Gallery, Popcorn Studio Pottery, Ramsey Hall Studio, Southern Stained Glass, Studio J and Studio S Pottery & Galleries.

This is such a wonderful tradition for the city of Murfreesboro! It always amazes me how many people come out and support our local artists!! These artists are such gems to this community and our support needs to continue. The tour is a wonderful way to show our children the beauty of handmade art. Be sure to check out Norris Hall Studio and Gallery for some pretty cool stuff!!!!

You can go to Cornerstone anytime. This weekend is the only chance to meet these talented professional artists who make their living from their art, see their studios and watch demonstrations.

Probably shouldn't say this on the Post website (sorry, Post), but the Art Studio Tour was a finalist in the Ruthie Awards for Favorite Annual Event. If you've never been before, make this year your first. There's a map to the studios on the website mentioned above.
