Dr. Jessie Campbell, former Holloway High teacher, will be guest speaker March 20 at the annual Willie McGowan Banquet.
The event is set for 7 p.m. and is sponsored by Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center, 415 S. Academy St., Murfreesboro. Theme for the event is “Preserving our past while we build on the future of our youth.”
Honorees are former state Rep. John Hood, Fannie Jean Vaughn, former chairperson of the Bradley Museum and businesspersons Jimmy and Melissa Oden, owners of TL Trophies.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for youths 12 and youngers. The event is the annual fundraiser for Bradley Academy.
Outback Restaurant will be catering the event. Tickets are available from Margaret Davis (615-896-9464), Katie Wilson (615-556-7189) and Florence Smith (615-896-1897).
