Tickets available for annual Rutherford Heart Ball

Mark your calendars now for the 2013 Rutherford Heart Ball.

Set for Saturday, Feb. 23, the annual black-tie event, sponsored by the American Heart Association, raises funds to support the its mission of fighting cardiovascular disease, which is the No. 1 killer of men and women in the United States

Festivities will begin with a cocktail hour and silent auction at 6 p.m. at the Stones River Country Club in Murfreesboro.

The Heart Ball program starts at 7:30 p.m., and will include presentations, a live auction, dinner and live music by Entice.

Lady and Bart Hamilton and Lissa and Davis Young are the co-chairs of this year’s Heart Ball, and Herbert “Bud” Young has been designated as the 2012 Heart Ball honoree.

Tickets are $200 for the ball and $50 per person or $75 per couple for the Late Party.

A late party will also be offered for young professionals.

The Heart Ball presenting sponsor is Saint Thomas Heart at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association and its mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
