Three suspects were charged after they were accused of holding up four people Saturday on Wenlon Drive, Murfreesboro detectives reported.

Suspects Michael B. Eady, 19, of MTSU’s Felder Hall, Andrew S. Abernathy, 19, of Nashville and Michael L. Evans, 20, of South Rutherford Boulevard were charged with four counts each of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary, Detective Abe Vongphakdy reported.

One of the suspects was accused of placing a handgun against a victim’s neck while ordering him and three other victims to empty their pockets.

Vongphakdy obtained descriptions of the suspect and their vehicle and forwarded the information to patrol officers who stopped the suspects a few minutes later on South Rutherford Boulevard.

“A search of the vehicle was conducted by the officers and the victims’ items were located,” Vongphakdy reported.

The three suspects were booked into Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing is set March 17 in General Sessions Court.
