Burglars continued to steal handguns from residences as reported the past few days, sheriff’s deputies reported.
The burglars stole a .44-Magnum, a .357-Magnum and a Glock 9mm handgun sometime Tuesday night from Barry Ayers of Leanna Road, Deputy Clint Teasley reported.
The burglars also removed about $500 worth of change, Teasley reported. Total loss was estimated at $1,950.
Four other handguns, including an off-duty firearm owned by a Metro Nashville Police officer, were taken from homes this week in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County.
