Tennessee Highway Patrol Col. Mike Walker will discuss the mission of the THP and traffic enforcement at the Exchange Club at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Through the Grapevine restaurant.
THP investigates accidents involving property damage, personal injuries and fatalities. When personal injury or fatal accidents involve drugs or alcohol, the THP prosecutes in court working with the attorney general’s office. The THP is also active in criminal interdiction, suppressing narcotics on roads, highways and interstates.
