THP troopers set up license and sobriety checkpoints

Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers will check drivers for drinking and driving during the following checkpoints this quarter of 2010 in Rutherford County:

• Jan. 1 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Chicken Pike.

• Feb. 19 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Old Nashville Highway at state Route 840.

• March 19 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on state Route 99 (New Salem Highway) at Old Salem Highway.

Troopers will check driver’s licenses during the following checkpoints this quarter of 2010 in Rutherford County:

• Jan. 8 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Old Nashville Highway at state Route 840 and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Chicken Pike east of Almaville Road.

• Feb. 26 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on state Route 99 (New Salem Highway) at Old Salem Highway and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Warrior Drive east of New Salem Highway.

• March 12 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 70 South (John Bragg Highway) at Mt. Herman Road and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Bradyville Pike at Ghee Road.
