THP to heavily patrol Hwy. 70 in Rutherford County

Tennessee Highway Patrol Sgts. Billy Prater, Jon Officer, Rick Woodward, and Jimmy Jones are announcing there will be Saturation Patrols on US Highway 70 South Friday, July 20.

This multi-agency, multi-county saturation is being conducted together with the Cannon, Rutherford, Warren, White and Van Buren County Sheriff’s Departments and the McMinnville and Woodbury Police Departments.

Highway 70 South runs from State Highway 111 in White County to the intersection of US Highway 41 in Murfreesboro, passing through Van Buren, Warren and Cannon counties.

Officers will be diligent in observing for impaired drivers and those not wearing their seatbelts. Overtime hours may be used to increase the number of troopers working this saturation.
