Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers will check driver’s licenses from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today on Warrior Drive, east of New Salem Highway.

Troopers will saturate Interstate 24 on New Year’s Eve to watch for drinking drivers and to reduce traffic crashes, said Sgt. Rick Smith.

They will conduct a sobriety checkpoint for drinking drivers from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday New Year’s Day on Chicken Pike.
