Thomas Roy "Tommy" Gilley Sr., age 90, passed away Sunday October 14, 2012.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late William Albert and Annie Myrtle Reed Gilley. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen G. Gilley, son James Andrew Gilley, Grandson Randy Gilley, Sister Ruby Travis, and his Brothers William, Clarence, Edmund, Ben, and John Gilley.
 
Mr. Gilley is survived by son A.C. Gilley of Beechgrove; sons and daughters-in-law Roy and Mary Ann Gilley, Jerry Wayne and Carolyn Gilley all of Murfreesboro, Butch and Vamela Gilley of Woodbury; daughter-in-law Nancy Gilley of Hendersonville; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  

Mr. Gilley was a member of Florence Baptist Church, and was a retired farmer.

Visitation will be 11:00 until 2:00 pm Wednesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, with Graveside service at 2:30 Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Brother Bill Reed will officiate.
