THOMAS LEE JONES, age 55, of Lavergne died Friday. He was the son of the late Willard Thurman and Margaret “Polly” Teligha Sims Jones. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna and Graveside services 2:00 pm at Kirkland Cemetery in Fayetteville, TN.
He is survived by a daughter: Toni (Tyler) Milne of Murfreesboro, sons: Troy Lee Jones of Phoenix, AZ, and Thomas “Danny” Jones of Atlanta, GA, sisters: Avis (Richard) Sliger of Smyrna and Tracy Jones of Murfreesboro, brother: Scott Jones of Murfreesboro, grandchildren: Tate, Walker, and Peyton Jones, and several loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jones was a self employed drywall contractor. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna
