The Murfreesboro Optimist League Sandlot Report is compiled weekly by the Murfreesboro Optimist Club. Following is a recap of games played April 7-13.

COACH-PITCH (7-8 year-olds)

White Sox 14, Yankees 4
Hayden Chamless scored three runs and Ezra Montgomery, Eric Fein and Braden Hopkins each scored twice as the White Sox turned back the Yankees 14-4.  Garrett Chumley, Colton Hillhouse and Garrett Kayser led the Yankees.

Reds 19, Phillies 13
Isaiah Dickerson and Ethan Keeke scored four times each; DeVarious Robinson and Jacob Harris scored three times, and Richard Peppers and Wyatt Cade scored twice each for the Reds. Tyler Markos and Victor Stephenson scored three runs each for the Phillies, and Houston Harrell added two runs.

Braves 12, Orioles 8
Kohlten Brown hit three home runs and drove in six to lead the Braves past the Orioles, 12-8. The Braves also had three hits from Harrison Gravitt and two hits each from Brayden Reed, Easton Ray, Ethan Stoecker, Mark Cella, Drew Smith and Austin Sweeney. Graham Keating and Cole Martinez had home runs for the Orioles, who also had two hits from Mason Thompson, Christian D'Oliveria and Brandon Conrad.

Tigers 10, Orioles 8
Gareth Davidson, John David Constantine, Ethan Barnes and Justin Bradford each reached base and scored three times lead the Tigers. Christian D'Oliveria, Will Bates, Graham Keating and Eddie Willis led the Orioles.
Phillies 13, Braves 10
Victor Stephenson, Brock Rhoton and Brady Vaughn led the Phillies to a 13-10 win against the Braves. Easton Ray, Brayden Reed and Ethan Stoecker led the way for the Braves.

Reds 10, Mariners 7
Ethan Leeke and Davarious Robinson hit home runs to lead the Reds past the Mariners, 10-7. Robinson and Jacob Harris each had three hits for the Reds. Leeke, Jackson Phillips and Wyatt Cade had two hits each for the Reds. Zach Daingerfield hit a home run for the Mariners and Rashaed Barrett had a triple. The Mariners also had two hits from Henry Wolfe, and Chase Jackson.

Cardinals 9, Giants 3
Jack Jones hit two home runs and Austin Watson added one home run to lead the Cardinals to a 9-3 win over the Giants. Cassius Thorpe and Wes  Tidwell had three hits each for the Cards. David Pullias, Riley Everhart, Carter Stephens, Micah Harris and Jacob Bobo each had three hits for the Giants.

Red Sox 24, Yankees 2
Jacob Cabhill and Brooks McAfee each had a home run to power the Red Sox past the Yankees. McAfee, Eli McFarland, Luke McFarland and Trip Knitter had four hits each for the Yankees, who also received three-hit performances from Cabhill, Caleb Marks, Sawyer Watts, Carlyle McAfee and Ethan Ridgely. Garrett Kayser, Nathen Okley and Maxwell Hynne led the Yankees.

Dodgers 19, Diamondbacks 17
Ty Wiggins was 3-for-3 with a home run and triple, and Nathan Anderson, Bailey Jones and Max McMurry had three hits each to lead the Dodgers. Taylor Nixon was 3-for-3 with two home runs, and Dalton Lynch, Denton Lynch, Alex Jones and Bryce Cason had three hits each to lead the Diamondbacks.

Diamondbacks 8, Reds 5
Dalton Lynch, Denton Lynch and Taylor Nixon led the way as the Diamondbacks turned back the Reds.

Braves 18, Dodgers 13
Ethan Stoecker and Scott Brown scored three times and Brayden Reed, Lucas Moss and Nathan Lord scored two runs each to lead the Braves. Nathan Anderson scored three runs for the Dodgers, while Kohl Nesbitt, Kimball Pike, and Max McMurry each scored twice.

Phillies 13, Giants 1
Tyler Markos and Brady Vaughn each hit a home run to lead the Phils. Houston Harvill and Markos scored three runs, and Brady Palmer, Victor Stephenson and Vaughn each scored twice. Trevon Sneed (double) and David Pullias (triple, run scored) led the Giants.

MINORS (9-10 year-olds)

Reds 10, Dodgers 5
Jacob Burriss hit a home run and drive in two runs, while Perry Baird and Patrick Moss also had hits to lead the Reds. Garrett Roshon and David Stout also reached base twice for the Reds. Chandler Wiggins had two hits, and Brandon Moorhead and Tyrick Boone had one each for the Dodgers.

Tigers 13, Yankees 5
Jackson Riley was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and Michael Polly added a pair of doubles to lead the Tigers to a 13-5 win against the Yankees. Garrett Clark, Pierce Creighton and Zachary McMurry each had one hit. The Yankees were led by Landon Tracy and Matthew McDaniel.
Cubs 17, Braves 12
Josh Harrell was 3-for-3 with a home run, five RBI and three runs scored to lead the Cubs. Jordan Christmon (3-for-3, two doubles), Cole Diamond (2-for-2, home run, double), Spencer Layne (home run) and Ryan Leija (home run) also led the Cubs. Braydon Pike led the Braves with a double, while Gavin Davidson, Andrew Hooper, Cole Gaither and Darrian Spray reached base twice.

Mariners 13, Twins 3
Alex Cassidy hit two home runs and Kalob Hallauer added another as the Mariners turned back the Twins 13-3. Cody Bryant and Jackson Taylor had two hits each for the Mariners. Ethan Siegrist and Riley Smith had two hits each for the Twins.

Astros 7, Cardinals 3
Perry Bryson, Jamie Martin, Joseph Bonanno, Austin Harvey, William Wilson, Tommy Apgar and Brandon Ricks each reached and scored to pace the Astros. Matthew George, Eric Sanders and Cameron Sanders led the Cardinals.

Royals 10, Red Sox 6
Gray Pullias and Zach Mackin scored twice and Nathan Cardell, Cole Traynor and Josh Finks came up big for the Royals. Carson Key, Carson Wilburn and Heath Hubbard led the Red Sox.

Pirates 7, Rockies 5
Griffin Howard was 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored, while Tuck Sears and Brandon Young had run-producing hits for the Pirates. Max Tidwell led the Rockies, going 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs scored. Blake Shultz and Guerron Marsh had run-producing hits for the Rockies.

Indians 15, Orioles 7
DiCarlos Riley hit a home run, and Stephen Laird, Evan Smart, Ben Adams and Omar James scored twice each to lead the Indians. Cooper Jones had a home run and Blake Jones scored twice to lead the Orioles.

Dodgers 12, Rockies 7
Jaden Wiggins, Chander Wiggins, Tyrick Boone and Landon Brasher each reached base three or more times to lead the Dodgers. Max Tidwell, Blake Shultz, Guerron Marsh and Brennon Marsh led the Rockies.

Mariners 6, Yankees 5
The Mariners scored twice in the late innings to come back and beat the Yankees. Cody Bryant, George Stephens and Marcelous Daniels led the way for the Mariners. Nolan Melton, Patrick Bassham, Landon Tracy, and Karsten Evans led the Yankees.

Cubs 11, Cardinals 5
Josh Harrell hit two triples, Cole Diamond doubled, and Jordan Christmon, Joe David Bell and Zachary Smith led the Cubs. Cammeron Sanders had a two-run home run for the Cubs, who also had hits from Henry Moseley, Matthew George and Eric Sanders.

MAJORS (11-12 year-old)

Red Sox 5, Mets 4
Austin Aaron was 2-for-3 with a home run, double and two run scored, and Taylor Wheat was 2-for-2 to lead the Red Sox. Fletcher Medline and Tyler Vincent each had triples to lead the Mets.

Giants 9, Mets 3
Sanford Stone was 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored, and Casey Clementz, Cole Burgdorf, and Jake Harris scored twice to lead the Giants. Kyle Hadley and Dorrico Riley led the Mets.

Orioles 10, Royals 4
The Orioles broke a 4-4 deadlock with a six-run fifth to earn the win as Jarod Parker hit his second home run of the season. Eric Hawks, Austin Davenport, Peyton Hayes, Peyton Young, Drew Matthews and Landon Bunt led the Orioles. J.D. Davenport, Caleb Smith and Bill Wright led the Royals.
Yankees 10, Dodgers 3
J.C. Hawkins was 3-for-4 with two doubles, Mitchell Workman, Dalton Tracy and Adam Dyke each had two hits for the Yankees. Matthew Sells and Jacob Wotkiewicz led the Dodgers.

Red Sox 10, White Sox 2
Dillon Lynch, Thomas Wheat and Austin Aaron led the Red Sox. Lynch scored three runs and Aaron added two in the win. Chandler Lovelace, Gabe Folwer and Clint Thomas paced the White Sox.

Diamondbacks 9, Braves 3
Carsen Anderson, Jakob Hurst and Nicholas Morten led the way for the Diamondbacks, while David Larson, Christian Wilson and Reese Brandon led the Braves.

Orioles 22, Diamondbacks 8
Jarod Parker hit his third home run of the season, this one clearing the fence in center, and Austin Davenport was 5-for-5 to lead the Orioles. Peyton Hayes had five RBI, while Eric Hawks and Peyton Young had two hits each. Hayden Dewees added a two-run single. The Diamondbacks were led by Carson Anderson, Jakob Hurts and Ryan Bruley.

Red Sox 5, Royals 4
Dillon Lynch was 2-for-2 with a double and Austin Aaron reached twice to lead the Red Sox to a come-from-behind win. J.D. Davenport, Brandon Abrams and Caleb Smith led the Royals.

Yankees 11, White Sox 0
Kyle Melton tripled, Collin Miller drove in four runs, JC Hawkins, Dalton Tracy and Adam Dyke scored two runs each to lead the Yankees over the White Sox. Michael Whitten doubled for the White Sox and Gabe Fowler reached base both times.
