| The Murfreesboro Post has apologized to the community for any harm caused in the publishing of Stephen Lewis' column on Nov. 9. The intent of Stephen Lewis and The Murfreesboro Post was never to offend our community or appear to be racist. While we always appreciate and encourage dialogue between members of our online community, we have decided to shut this comment section down. At this point many of the comments being posted violate our terms of service and it has become too time consuming and counter productive to allow to continue. Once again, we apologize for any hurt feelings or mischaracterization affecting the community.
