The owners of The Avenue Murfreesboro have retained an outside real estate company and consultant to assist in leasing available retail space.

Eakin Partners LLC, a Nashville-based commercial real estate company, and Chad Atwood, an independent real estate consultant, in cooperation with the owner, a joint venture between Faison Enterprises Inc. and Cousins Properties Incorporated will provide local retail leasing expertise to the 810,000 square feet open-air retail center located on Medical Center Parkway.

The local leasing effort is led by Mike McGuffin and Chad Atwood who bring more than 20 years of combined retail leasing experience to the project.

In addition, Faison and Cousins will continue to lease the project from Atlanta. “We are very excited about this opportunity to work with the Faison/Cousins team. The Avenue has an exceptional tenant mix with the strength and stability of many national anchor retailers coupled with the elegance of lifestyle tenants. “This open air, pedestrian friendly environment is unparalleled in the Murfreesboro market,” remarks McGuffin. Located along I-24, The Avenue has a regional customer base with the convenience of a neighborhood center. “Our goal is to focus on those tenants in the Nashville/Cool Springs area who may want to broaden their reach to the Murfreesboro community,” said Atwood.

Quality anchors include Belk, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Navy and Ulta complemented by retailers such as Chico’s, Talbots, Ann Taylor Loft, Victoria’s Secret, and American Eagle.
