Teresa Lynn Malone Espy, age 52, of Murfreesboro, passed away on July 8, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

She was a native of Fayetteville, N.C., but lived in Murfreesboro all of her life. Teresa was a homemaker.

Teresa is survived by her parents, Robert Lee and Mary Katherine Jakes Malone of Murfreesboro; sons, Lorenzo Marcell Espy of Murfreesboro and David Lee Espy of Murfreesboro; daughters, Jamie (Ricky) Butler of Smyrna; two sisters, Brenda Sue Malone of Murfreesboro and Cynthia Lee Malone Harrell of Beechgrove; six grandchildren, Ricky Butler Jr., Arriana Lynn Butler, Jasmyn Renee Espy, Laryssa Dainyell Espy, Jazmyn Arrial Butler and Jailyn Butler; and her best friend, Skittles.

A chapel service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Dr. Lenny Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
