Teresa Ann “Tess” Gerhart, age 48, of Lascassas, died Monday, August 6, 2012 at her home. She was a native of Franklin, N.J.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Central Christian Church 404 East Main Street Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Rev. Steve Odom will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Gerhart is survived by her husband Harry R. Gerhart; son Cason Dale Gerhart of Lascassas; and daughters Sylvia Brooke Gerhart of Lascassas and Amber R. Williams of Murfreesboro; mother Wilma Van Seters Brown; brother William R. Brown, Jr.; and sister Donna Rae Donohue all of N.J. Mrs. Gerhart was preceded in death by her father William R. Brown.

She was a member of Centeral Christian Church and was a homeschool mother. She received her B.S. Degree in Business Administration from MTSU in 1988.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Gerhart.
