TDK Construction, a Murfreesboro-based general contractor and developer, announces six projects will be under construction in 2010 totaling $90,000,000. The projects consist of five apartment complexes and one assisted living center. These projects are being built in Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas.

“TDK is looking at possibly our biggest year to date in 2010,” stated President Tim Keach, “Due to the economic climate, we have modified our business model to include more ownership than our typical client work. As developers ‘pulled in their horns’ we saw an opportunity to fill the ‘developer gap’. Our financial strength has enabled us to get deals financed when many of our clients have struggled getting financing.”

Four projects are currently under construction. Creekside at Three Rivers is a $10,500,000 assisted living center being built in Murfreesboro. TDK also has three apartment projects currently being built. A $15,500,00 student housing project is being built in San Antonio, TX for Royal Properties. TDK is also building a $13,900,000 project in Atoka, TN and a $18,400,000 project in Mobile, AL.

Two other projects, a $15,800,000 project in Cleveland, TN and a $16,400,000 project in Lenoir City, TN are slated to start this spring and summer.

“Our success is a direct reflection of the dedicated employees at TDK,” stated Vice President of Operations Kent Ayer, “they have bought into our team approach culture and have done a terrific job handling the influx of work. We have grown through this credit crisis and have positioned ourselves for opportunities once the market turns.”
