An original design by Shane Read will be featured on this year’s Taste of Stones River T-shirt.

Miranda will be given a gift card for her participation. All three pieces will be framed and on display at The Avenue during the event.

All local residents had the opportunity to create original artwork for the third Annual Taste of Stones River’s official T-shirt design. The committee received many designs and looks forward to continuing the contest in coming years.

Judging was based on originality and creativity. The design chosen captures the spirit of the event.

All winners will receive special recognition at the Taste of Stones River event, which will be held at The Avenue Murfreesboro from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available as well as a few spots for restaurants. Visit www.tasteofstonesriver.org for more information.
