Tammie Ray McIntyre

Tammie Ray McIntyre, age 46, went to her Heavenly home Aug. 9, 2013.

She was a native of Nashville, and resided in Lascassas for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Walker of Lebanon. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jim McIntyre and her beloved son Levi McIntyre and daughter Lexi McIntyre all of Lascassas. She is also survived by her father, Donald Murphree of LaVergne and her step-father Stan Walker of Lebanon.

Mrs. McIntyre was a member of Hillview Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. She enjoyed working with children by teaching Sunday School class and assisting with Vacation Bible School. She was a gifted homemaker that managed both a lively home and an expanding farm. Mrs. McIntyre cherished being the mother of two wonderful children and also enjoyed caring for livestock, gardening, beekeeping and embracing all of outdoors. She also loved traveling and camping with her family. She was a very supportive, devoted and loving wife and mother.

The family acknowledges with great appreciation all support received from State Farm,   Hillview Baptist Church, family and friends throughout her illness.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hillview Baptist Church Building Fund or Alive Hospice in memory of Mrs. McIntyre.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Sunday at Hillview Baptist Church.  Rev. Owen Ivery will officiate. Burial following in Republican Grove Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Gerald Bishop, Ronnie Bogle, Gary Massey, Gary Sadler, Mark Stacey and Dorris Young. Honorary pall bearers will be members of her Sunday School Class. Heaven just gained a beautiful soul. While we are sad to lose Tammie here on earth we know she is now face to face with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jim, Levi, and Lexi are in our prayers during this most difficult time.
