Suze Orman to be keynote speaker at Go Red For Women Luncheon

Personal finance expert Suze Orman will be the keynote speaker at the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Luncheon, to be held in Nashville on April 29 at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs.

Orman has been called “a force in the world of personal finance” and a “one-woman financial advice powerhouse” by USA Today.

She is a two-time Emmy Award-winning television host, New York Times bestselling author, magazine and online columnist, writer/producer, and one of the top motivational speakers in the world today.

Orman is the contributing editor to “O” The Oprah Magazine and the Costco Connection Magazine, and for the last nine years has been host of the award-winning Suze Orman Show, which airs every Saturday night on CNBC.

She was named by Forbes magazine as one of “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” and by TIME magazine as one of the “TIME 100, The World’s Most Influential People.”

She was also named by Business Week as one of the top motivational speakers in the world.

The Go Red For Women Luncheon, which raises awareness of women’s heart health, is one of the premier women’s events in Tennessee each year and one of the top Go Red For Women Luncheons in the nation, attracting nearly 500 female business and community leaders from Middle Tennessee. The day’s events will include health screenings, heart-healthy cooking sessions, fitness information, makeup retouches and other fun activities, plus a healthy gourmet lunch.

The mistress of ceremonies of the Luncheon will be Amy Marsalis. The chair of the Go Red For Women Luncheon is Denise Wilder Warren, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Capella Healthcare, Inc. The honorary chair is legendary singer and Grand Ole Opry star Lorrie Morgan.

Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association’s national call for women to take charge of their health to fight the No. 1 killer of women - cardiovascular disease.
