Dempsey Vantrease and Follis PLLC announces that Barbara Sutton, CPA has been admitted as a partner to the firm.
“Barbara has contributed significantly to the direction and growth of many initiatives,” says Bubba Dempsey, DVF Senior Partner.
“Barbara is actively involved in the medical industry and has a proven track record of providing exceptional client service.”
Sutton provides a wide range of services to individuals and businesses with particular focus on small business consulting and start ups, contract negotiations and business sales and mergers. Sutton has been with DVF for nearly 10 years prior to and after starting her own CPA firm, Sutton and Company.
Sutton is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) and has her Masters in Business Administration. She is a member of the American and Tennessee Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Sutton is actively involved in the Rutherford County community including currently serving as Past President of the Boys and Girls Club of Rutherford County, Murfreesboro YMCA Board of Directors, Treasurer for Rutherford CABLE and MTSU Accounting Advisory Board.
DVF and its affiliates have offices in Murfreesboro and Lebanon. DVF provides a full range of services for businesses and individuals including auditing, compilations and reviews, individual and business tax preparation, fiduciary and estate tax preparation, payroll processing, and bookkeeping.
Sutton will join DVF’s current partnership of Bubba Dempsey, Brownie Vantrease, Mark Follis, Mike Hallum, Kris Parkhurst and Jeff Brown.
