Murfreesboro Police charged a suspect Monday with robbery of SunTrust Bank Feb. 14 inside the Kroger on East Northfield Boulevard, the spokesman reported.

The man wearing pink cloth gloves demanded money from a teller inside the store. A bank camera captured his photograph.

After an investigation with FBI, suspect Ashley Laron Gooch, 21, of 1416 Bradyville Pike was identified as a suspect, questioned by detectives and charged, reported spokesman Kyle Evans.

Gooch was previously arrested nine times in the past two years with charges ranging from sale of marijuana, violation of probation, driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.

He was booked into Rutherford County Adult Detention Center where a hearing was set April 7 in General Sessions Court.
