SCUM! Lowest of the low! I realize the bond couldn't be set very high because the theft was under $500 but I hope NO ONE comes to this scumbag's aid. This just makes me want to puke!

Geez, I almost feel bad for this guy. People are going to want to kill him! As I read this, I just shook my head in disbelief. It's one thing that he was out looting, but the fact that he stole from the Bryant's... Man, that's just unreal.
I kinda wish The Post didn't post his street address. Doesn't come off as the best idea, considering...

This makes me furious! Killing is too good for him, jail is too good for him! He needs to be made to look John Bryant in the eyes and see his pain of loosing his wife and child, and apologize to him for what he did. He needs to be taken to these destruction sites and be made to clean up, splinter by splinter, what's left of these victim' lives. He needs to be taken to the funeral and be made to see the pain of the family and friends as they put this mother and child in the ground. He needs to know, first hand, the pain of this family and the other victims of the tornado. To steal from this family or anyone else affected by this disaster is beyond discusting. Give him to me for a week. One week. That's all I'd need!

I'm glad the Post ran this story along with all the other news media. This will expose the creep for who he is! I don't think people are going to want to physically kill him, even though they might feel like it. I do agree with Boo, but then again a mind like this freak probably doesn't even have a conscience. It has been seared! I think we will all remember the face of this man and what he is. Scum!

And yet he has not been convicted, no evidence has been heard in a court. Are we assuming that he is guilty because he's been accused? Or that he is guilty because the paper seems to say so?
By:
LilAudrey on 4/17/09
Well Justus, sounds like he was caught red-handed. While it is up to a judge, he is certainly guilty of stupidity. That area of town is covered up with police, state troopers and concerned citizens. How would you like it, if he pulled up at your house and started collecting scrap metal for "recycling?"
By:
hamrtyme on 4/17/09
Justus, this idiot thief was not a home owner in that neighborhood or a licensed contractor so HE HAD NO BUSINESS IN THAT AREA OR ANY OTHER AREA OF STORM DAMAGE unless it was in his own yard scavaging "scrap metal". I only hope that Mr. Bryant is in the court room so this sleeze can look at this poor man who lost everything & see his pain. No matter what condition the swingset was in, it belonged to his baby girl & everything is a treasure for him. I should know, I lost my son nearly 11 years ago & everything he touched is still such a treasure.

hamrtyme- I am so sorry for the loss of your son! You are right, the things our loved ones leave behind are lifetime treasures that help us through our grief and keep the wonderful memories of them alive. God bless you.
