Inspired by Verizon’s popular “Susie’s Lemonade Stand” commercial, friends of Project Help will host a lemonade stand of their own this Saturday, July 23 from 10 a.m until 1 p.m. at Verizon Wireless, located at 580 North Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro.

The lemonade stand hosts have not specified a price for people to “wet their whistles.”

Instead, patrons of the stand are asked to make donations for cups of the sweet, tangy summer staple.

All proceeds will go toward funding a remodel of Project Help’s Baird Lane Building to accommodate all center-based programs for families with children under three, and to use the Fairview classroom as the setting for Project Help’s new Thrilling Threes program.

Project Help is an early intervention program that offers services free of charge to families who have very young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
