La Vergne - Brandon Ray Malone, 32, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 5 in Nashville immediately after another robbery at First Tennessee Bank on Whites Creek Pike.
During that incident, an off-duty metro detective heard the call, recognized the vehicle, and made a felony stop. The FBI also responded to the scene to question two subjects and placed Malone under arrest.
He faces multiple federal charges, including the armed robbery of Suntrust Bank, located 5056 Murfreesboro Road in La Vergne. Malone will appear in Federal Court after a court date is set.
