From my recollection one degree was going to cause the seas to rise and world to end. So does this mean that there is an oncoming ice age?

Now now, mhm2a and confused, you should know better than to call it 'global warming', it's 'climate change'! And why is it climate change? Because for as dumb as they are, the people running this sham have realized we're doing more cooling than we are warming. And, with a term as broad as 'climate change', it can now be applied to any situation. Flood? Climate Change. Drought? Climate Change. Wildfires? Climate Change. Making us buy credits for what God Almighty designed our bodies to exhale? Profits! Er...uh....I mean climate change.

FYI...the guy that did the research years ago and coined the phrase "global warming" later said that it was simply a theory and he didn't believe it was true. It was those after him that took his work as truth and ran with it. Funny.

Has there ever been a period of time on Earth when the "climate" did not change?
About 1000 years ago the Vikings were farming Greenland because it was "warm". About 300 years ago we had a "Little Ice Age" because it was "cold". Climate change comes and goes like sunrise and sunset. We can't cause or prevent change in climate. What we can change is the occupation of political offices by ill-informed politicians.
