The only global warming that exists is coming from the hot air of global warming activists. All the time, effort and money being spent on this non-issue is the real crisis.
Must go now. I need to fill up my SUV so I can get to the store to buy some flourescent light bulbs.

Global Warning tour- they fly in jets, have tour buses, etc.. until they can perform in concert using solar power, they need to shut their global pie hole!

I was beginning to think I was a lone voice crying in the wilderness.
Two things really tick me off about this global warming hoopla:
1. Who do these people think they are that they have the power to change the weather? This is the ultimate in arrogance.
2. They want to destroy our freedoms in the name of saving the planet while they live in huge mansions and drive gant vehicles but want us "little" people to drive cracker boxes and live a primitive lifestyle.

Amen to the above comments. And those compact flourescent bulbs? They have mercury in them, and we know that's really environmentally friendly.
I'm old enough to remember the ecology movement of the 60's and 70's, and the big fright campaign was the threat of a new ice age. And don't get me started on Rachel Carlson's Silent Spring. Because of this book, DDT spraying was stopped in third world countries, causing the death of millions to malaria. This was done to save the bald eagles, whose eggs were supposedly becoming fragile due to the pesticide use. This was later disproven, yet DDT spraying has not been reinstated, and the malaria deaths are continuing.
Humans are not the major cause of global warming. We therefore do not have the power to stop it. Yes, we are supposed to be good stewards of the planet God gave us. But one of my biggest gripes with the environmentalists is that they target their junk science and scare tactics to children, who have no power or resources to do anything about it. They see Al Gore and his ilk on Channel One,for example, and there is no balancing viewpoint.
The high priests of the environmental movement with their "carbon offset credits" remind me of the indulgences sold during the Middle Ages to buy dead relatives of the gullible out of purgatory. It's just one more example of their hypocrisy. Unfortunately, they can't be ignored, as we can see from the recent Supreme Court ruling stating that carbon dioxide emissions are now to be regulated. Gradually are freedoms are to be eroded, based on faulty science which will later be disproven, but only after it is too late. Unless we continue to speak out!

Gloria-I here ya on the Channel One information. I'm married to a geologist so I'm fortunate that he can balance what my daughter hears at school.

Snook-you aren't a lone voice, unless you are speaking of mainstream media. Then, unless you worship (a la Leonardo Di Caprio)Al Gore, then you are a right-wing, anti Global Warming nazi.

But if it's on the news, then it must be true. We need to tell the city and the county that the more they approve subdivisions, malls, etc., then they are contributing to 'global warming' with all the construction equipment tearing up the countryside!
