The third annual Stones River Civil War and Military Show and Sale is set for Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Lane Agri Park Community Center. 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

Many of the nation's renown Civil War antiques dealers will be at the show including Larry Hicklen, Rafael Eledge, Bill and Tom Hayes and John E. Turner. Eledge has been featured on PBS's "Antiques Roadshow." All will be on hand to offer free appraisals.

Military antiques and collectibles of the Civil War can be found at the show. Edged weapons, uniforms, books, photographs, field equipment, firearms and insignia are some of the items that will be featured.

A large display of relics dug in Rutherford County will be shown by "The Rutherford County Boys," a group of relic hunters.

The show offers an opportunity to take a trip back in time and view Civil War artifacts, many of which are museum quality.

Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $6 with children 12 and under free.

Are the above dates correct? My calendar shows Friday is the 16th, Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th. Are the days Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun?
