MTSU Up ‘Til Dawn has been fund raising year round for one reason – to help kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – and it is celebrating the hard work with the community.
Up ‘Til Dawn’s grand finale event will take place from 7 p.m.-3 a.m. Friday night through Saturday morning at MTSU’s Murphy Center.
Team registration starts at 6:30 p.m. MTSU’s Band of Blue, Spirit Team and Lighting will open the event at 7:30 p.m.
The night will include a surprise, celebrity guest, MTSU Word-Up and Step/Stroll off, Food, inflatables, laser tag, a birthday cake walk and a silent auction.
Up ‘Til Dawn is a student-led, student-run program sponsored by universities nationwide.
The organization unites faculty, students, the community and sponsors in a goal to help the children at St. Jude’s. There are currently more than 230 college campuses nationwide participating in the program.
Since 199, MTSU’s chapter has raise more than $550,000 for the Memphis-based children’s hospital and is the university’s largest charity organization.
