Dawn White, candidate in the Republican primary for the Tennessee House of Representatives in the new 37th District, has named Murfreesboro resident Amelia Bozeman as her campaign manager.
Through her business, Stiletto Strategy, Bozeman has provided public relations consulting for business clients in the financial, medical, dental, entertainment and educational fields, as well as for numerous local nonprofits.
“Amelia Bozeman has a strong track record as an effective communicator. I am so glad to have her on my team and to have her expertise in getting our message of economic growth, education reform, and smaller, smarter government out to residents of the 37th District,” White said.
Bozeman is a member of the Leadership Rutherford Class of 2012, Project Help Advisory Board, Discovery Center at Murfree Spring Advisory Board, RutherfordCABLE, the United Way Women's Initiative Council, Middle Tennessee Medical Center Ambassadors Executive Board, and the Rutherford LEAP board. She also works with the college ministry of First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.
“I am honored by the opportunity to work with Dawn White and her campaign. As a small business owner, Dawn understands what is needed to get our economy moving again. As a former educator, she knows the challenges Tennessee’s teachers and students face. She’s a common sense conservative who will work to make our government more efficient. Dawn’s integrity, talent, real world experience, and her record as a true community servant will make her an exceptional state representative,” Bozeman said.
White owns a small business in Smyrna and is a former teacher in the Murfreesboro City School System.
A lifelong resident of Rutherford County, she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in education from MTSU.
