Two Murfreesboro Starbucks locations are slated to close by early 2009, according to the coffeehouse's Web site.

The stores at 207A Stones River Mall Blvd. next door to Buffalo Wild Wings, and
and a kiosk in the Stones River Mall at 1720 Old Fort Parkway are scheduled to close

Starbucks originally announced on July 1 that it would close approximately 600 underperforming company-owned stores beginning this month.

Several area Starbucks will remain open: 2904 S. Church St., 2935 S. Rutherford Blvd., 1804 Old Fort Parkway, 2050 Lascassas Pike and 803 Industrial Blvd. and 620 Sam Ridley Parkway West both in Smyrna.
