Speed networking session offered for marketing students, employers

The MTSU Department of Management and Marketing and the Professional Sales Program invites university students to the Employment Opportunities Exchange from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31.

Management and Marketing Department is providing this chance for MTSU students interested in pursuing careers in sales, marketing and management to network with prospective employers.

The Employment Opportunities Exchange will offer a morning speed networking session from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., an employer luncheon from 12-1 p.m., and an afternoon session from 1-2:30 p.m.

Each 15-minute speed networking round will allow employers to speak with 5-6 students at a time, and will be divided into 3 sections:
1. Employer introduction and explanation of current job openings
2. Student introductions and presentations of resumes
3. Q&A by both the employer and the students

A bell will ring at the close of each round, signaling students to select their next table.
All student participants will be required to prepare an introduction and bring resumes ready for distribution.
