Special Kids will hold its 11th annual Golf Classic on Thursday, May 6 at Indian Hills Golf Club to benefit children with special needs served by the nonprofit.

The tournament will begin with registration at 11 a.m. followed by a delicious lunch provided by Chick-fil-A at noon. A shotgun start will kick off the golf scramble at 1 p.m. when players will compete to win prizes donated by local businesses.

The tournament format is a four-person ‘scramble,’ with each team starting at various holes. A team of four can play to benefit Special Kids for only $125 per person or $500 per team. Joining in the tournament will include goodie bags, lunch, and 18 holes of golf. Players will also have a chance to win two hole-in-one prizes including a 2010 Ford Fusion provided by Alexander Automotive and a $10,000 cash prize provided by Farmer Brothers Insurance.

For a $125 investment, organizations can receive their company name listed on a tee sign at one of the 18 holes. The 11th annual Special Kids Golf Classic is a great opportunity for Murfreesboro and surrounding community members to network and enjoy a game of golf, tasty food and prizes while raising funds for the children at Special Kids.

Major sponsors already include: Chick-fil-A, Nissan, Red Realty, and Middle Tennessee Oral and Implant Surgery. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities or to register a team, contact Ginger Warf at 615-893-4892 or gwarf@specialkidstn.com.
