“Road conditions are wet and slushy but no major problems reported,” MPD Spokesman Kyle Evans said. “As always, we urge drivers to use caution and give themselves extra time to get to their destination.”

The Murfreesboro Police Department responded to four crashes between midnight and 10:30 Wednesday morning.

Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Lisa Marchesoni said bridges around the county were slick in the morning hours, but no serious wrecks were reported.

Marchesoni added all visits to inmates are canceled at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center because of the snow.
