A Smyrna High School volleyball standout has signed an athletic scholarship to continue her playing career at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Ga.

Arden Fox, a defensive specialist, was a four-year letter winner during her career at Smyrna High, amassing 1,282 digs during that time. Her success on the court resulted in Fox being ranked the seventh best player in school history.

She was named All District 7AAA and all-area as a junior and senior. In addition to being named team captain and most valuable player her senior year, Fox played volleyball for Rutherford County Juniors the past three years.

In 2012, she participated in the 2012 USAV Girls Junior National Tournament.
