With tax season right around the corner and an uneasy economic climate, investing can seem daunting without good advice.

Smyrna Public Library will host "Tax Free Investing: It’s Not What You Make, It’s What You Keep," a workshop on tax-free investing and related topics on Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m.

An Edward Jones financial advisor will present the workshop, which is designed to help participants determine if tax-free investing is one way to help them reduce their tax burdens. Other topics that will be discussed include tax –advantaged investments and their features, tax-free investment returns vs. taxable investment returns, three ways to purchase municipal bonds, and how tax-free investments can help you achieve your goals.

The tax-free investing workshop will be held in the conference room of Smyrna Public Library on Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. The program is free and open to the public.
