The Rutherford County Jack in the Box Bowl for Kids' Sake 2009 Kick Off Party is slated for noon Saturday, March 21 at the Smyrna Bowling Center,

The community is invited to come prepared to sign up teams for the Rutherford County Bowl for Kids’ Sake on Saturday, May 2. All proceeds benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee
The first 12 participants to pick a date and sign up five teams or more will receive a $5 gift card from Jack in the Box. Coupons for free Jack in the Box food will be given to all team captains signing up a team while supply lasts.
Participants in the event raise pledges from family and friends, 100 percent of which goes to fund mentoring programs on behalf of children in Middle Tennessee.
The bowling itself is a fun, free party where team members enjoy an hour and half of bowling, fun prizes and the knowledge that they are helping provide a positive adult role model for a child in need.
Participants in the bowl-a-thon event receive a T-shirt for a minimum amount of pledges raised.
Bring a little magic to Middle Tennessee children. All proceeds from BFKS allow us to pair boys and girls in our community with trained volunteer mentors.
